Calls claiming missed call from my landline number.

Ttoday I received two calls to my landline claiming they had missed a call from my number.Since NBN connection this has happened frequently. Recently I decided to cancel OZ Talk and pay for calls as I make them from the landline, since I usually use the mobile. I don't want to be charged for scammers using my number to make calls. How do I make sure this happens? Do I have to disconnect the landline?

We checked the account and reviewed the Phone usage, but there's no calls or outgoing calls from it.

The calls might be scams or phishing calls. Please disregard any calls or emails that will ask for your account information.
