SIM and original sim not working

I've been waiting 2 days for my SIM to be activated, which is fine but why has my Vodafone sim card stopped working aswell? I haven't been able to make calls to anybody or use internet and it's seriously been messing with me the past couple of days. Still no option to activate my SIM yet
