My previous service has been disconnected so I am unable to send or recieve texts/calls - thus am unable to respond to or send the number transfer text to begin SIM activation and transfer of my number.
Please help me to activate my TPG service and transfer my number.

For reference, if you intent to port or transfer your existing number to a new provider, please note that providers usually require you to keep the mobile number active until you have successfully transferred it to them.
Let us have your TPG account number or customer ID via PM to check your options.
