Sim not provisioned

After activating my new TPG sim card yesterday at around 7.30am. TPG ported my number from my old provider at 9.48am. At this point my phone number stopped working with the old provider so I took that sim out and put in the new sim card from TPG. It did not work because of a provisioning error. Nearly 24 hours later and I still have no ability to make or receive calls. I have spoken to TPG multiple times and keep getting different answers. Please help! All of my apps such as banking are linked to this number so I am stuck until this problem is fixed. Not a great start!
