4G Volte

My Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge has been active on the 4G Volte network since its inception and has been removed from the network since 27th November 2024 due to my phone not being listed on the TPG white list. Prior to 3g shutting down I contacted TPG and was advised there was no need to upgrade my phone as I explained that 4G Volte was active and working on my phone. TPG assured me they were going to add my phone model to their compatibility list. I have checked with other networks and my phone is on their compatibility lists as follows:

Telstra VoLTE compatible devices includes Samsung Galaxy S series 7 onwards

The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are the first compatible phones for the Optus VoLTE offering.

Tangerine also lists Samsung Galaxy S7 onwards as compatible with Volte.

After speaking with support was advised to contact AMTA about this issue. AMTA's reply was that TPG Telecom is the only entity that can assess if your device should be supported, or not. I have contacted TPG support for a second time and my complaint has been escalted. Can you please rectify this ASAP. Thanks Linda
