NBN connection is hopeless

Over the past few days my NBN connection has been playing up. At certain times in the day, it will just completely cut out for around 1-2 mintues, reconnect and then proceed to do this on a cycle. It only tends to happen in the afternoon, and it dropped out twice while writning this message. I am also sitting right next to the modem, not even 30cms away, and the 'internet' light on the modem keeps dropping in and out repetadtely. I have done so many hard resets, too many to count and I even did a speed test just to show you how bad it actually is.


I am currently working from home, and using a hotspot when this issue happens and I really need assistance urgently as I do not have the time to wait on hold. On an unrelated note, but semi related, the home phone is also very distored when someone speaks.
