Hi, 

My new chromecast says it can not connect to the wifi and that the AP Isolation needs to be disabled, how do I disable it?

Hi @arjun1n1

We currently don't know the make and model of your modem/router, but if you can access your modem interface, you may be able to disable the AP isolation.

Using a computer or smart phone/tablet, open a web browser (Chrome, Safari, etc.), then type 192.168.1.1 (you may check the sticker on the back or bottom of the modem/router to confirm this). You'll see the login details on the said sticker as well. 

Once inside, just locate the WLAN/Wireless settings to disable the AP isolation, then hit save or apply.
