5g Dropout

I'm happy that our TPG Fiber to the building got connected today. However, I'm having a 5g dropout. Resetting the modem works but it will drop me out again after a few minutes. Please help.

Do you mean the 5GHz band on the wifi router?

Is the 2.4GHz band working ok?

The 5G band has higher speed but doesn't go as far.

Yes. That's right. The 5g on the router. How can I assure that it's not dropping me out. I prefer using it because it's faster.

What is the wifi signal strength where you get dropouts compared to the strength closer to the router?

Can you try using your device in different parts of the house?

Are there many other wifi networks in the neighbourhood? And what are their signal strengths?
