Huawie modem TPG bridging settings for FTTB

Clipper

Hi

I am using a TPG supplied FTTB modem/router for my TPG FTTB connection and I am only using one router.  I was told that bridging was not required in this instance but when I disabled the bridging I could no longer see the modem or connect to it.  Could you please confirm that layer bridging is required even when not using a second router and what the layer bridging settings are supposed to be?

I had to do a factory reset to see the modem again but I want to make sure that I actually need bridging enabled.

Hi @Clipper

If you are using the TPG provided modem/router alone, then no need to enable the bridging of the device.

You don't need to change anything under bridging as it may disrupt your service again.
