Charged with new plan price where the new speed not applied yet

Hi, I got charged with the new price plan even before the new speed applied to my home internet. For example, it is on 06/03/2024 but I tested my internet speed still same as previous plan speed. Is this mean I am losing money at the start of the plan without even be able to enjoy new speed? Anyone experience this as well?

Did you receive any notification that the plan change has been applied?

If yes, then when you tested the speed, is it through WiFi or Wired connection?


If via WiFi, are you connected to the 2.4GHz or 5GHz band network?


What is the make and model of your modem/router?

Hi @BasilDV,

I got the email from TPG saying that the request to change your TPG NBN plan has been completed. In addition, TPG has already sent me the account statement and invoice.

I tested the speed using Google Home app in my iphone (attached screenshot) which showing 100Mbps. My new plan should be around 600Mbps.

My modem still using old one from TPG (Tplink Archer VR1600).

I tried to send email to tpg but always failed and therefore I go here to find out if someone encounter same issue.
