This is from the user guide for ethernet connection.
WAN Access Type: Select Residential Gateway to configure Ethernet connection settings.
Interface: Select the interface from the drop-down menu. ETH0-ETH5 are available. The default is ETH0.
Enable Interface: Select whether to enable or disable this interface.
VLAN Settings
VLAN Tagged: Enable or disable VLAN tagging.
If you enabled VLAN Tagged, the following options are available:
VLAN ID: Enter the VLAN ID. The value should be 0, or 0-4079.
VLAN Priority: Enter the VLAN Priority from the default 0 (lowest) to 7 (highest).
Use ETH0 (default) and enable it.
Enable VLAN tagging. VLAN ID=2, Priority=0.
IPv4 Settings:
My Internet Connection is: Select PPPoE.
Username: Enter the username provided by your ISP + @tpg.com.au
Password: Enter the password provided by your ISP.
Reconnect Mode: Select Always-on.
Advanced Settings
Address Mode: Select Static IP if your ISP assigned you an IP address, subnet mask,
gateway, and DNS server addresses. In most cases, select Dynamic IP.
IP Address: Enter the IP address provided by your ISP. Static IP only.
Service Name: Enter the ISP service name (optional).
Primary DNS Server:
Enter the primary DNS server IP address assigned by your ISP.
This address is usually obtained automatically from your ISP.
Secondary DNS Server:
Enter the secondary DNS server IP address assigned by your ISP.
This address is usually obtained automatically from your ISP.
MTU: Maximum Transmission Unit - you may need to change the MTU for optimal performance with your ISP. Leave it as is.
Enable NAT: Enable Network Address Translation.
Click Save when you are done.
