Still can’t connect NBN

Hi,
I posted this question on the 6/4/20 and still waiting for response and I received another message reminding me to activate my NBN connection and followed the instructions but the internet light is off on the modem router and only the first light is stable on the connection device. The second light flashes and the others are off.
Could you please let me know how to connect.

Hi,

 

On checking your NBN FTTC service is still being provisioned.

NBN status is they are still installing presently, give it 48hrs and try again.

 

You will get a notification when this is completed.

 

In the meantime you should be able to use the ADSL2+ , untill the NBN arrives.

Thanks for your reply, I waited a couple of days but still not connecting.

We also cannot connect to ADSL 2+

Is it possible the phone line isn’t working?

We just moved into this house a couple of months ago. There is the physical outlet for the phone, but not sure if the line actually works?

Also I keep receiving texts saying connect the modem. And I could be billed.

The modem is connected. I also don’t think I should be billed as I am not yet receiving the service I would be paying for.
