I asked TPG if our cost will decrease when TPG has migrated email to TMC. The response, as expected, is that "TPG email is/was provided as a free service". And that is why the email service is so unrealiable and they do little to nothing to deter spammers and the like. We only keep our email with TPG as it would be a nightmare migrating to another provider. I expect that TPG want to unload the email as it takes up well over 70% of their resources, then they can shut down overseas help! Perhaps TMC will improve the experience! So why would you want to then stay with them for their internet services only?? I suspect this will kill their business.

I agree. TPG do nothing to get rid of spam (particularly fake TPG emails). I'm going to the telecom communications ombudsman. I get about 3 per week on the average. Surely they can eliminate these - they aren't interested in customers just profits!

Hello - the dropouts seem to be increasing in frequence and I might get 10 dropouts in an hour. The modem is quite warm undermeath as well. Can you test the router online? It is an infuriating issue as we have numerous other devices dropping out as well. Thanks, Jetpilot

Hello - I use a tpg supplied Netcomm N300 Wifi Gigabit router (N12) modem for a basic 12MB NBN FTTP service, now several years old. The connection drops out intermittently and this has occured even more frequently over the last couple of weeks. How can I test the integrity of the medem/router to determine if it is at fault, or NBN is at fault ?

I cannot reach your POP server this morning. Last night was OK and I can use the TPG post office webmail.

I cannot log into the TPG Post Office or directly to email. The resotoration time seems to be shifting to the right a lot. Next restoration time is 1700 hrs...but I'm sure it will shift! I assume we will get credit for service not provided??

With the volume of junk/spam coming into email these days, I thought TPG might have a more direct way to tag and delete junk in bulk. I have tried dragging them into the spam folder, but little else seems to prevent them. Surely there is a smarter way of getting rid of this rubbish which takes up about 40-60% of my inbox. It is not unique to any one client, so perhaps there could be higher level filters in the server??? It must also be impacting on the postoffice, so it is to everyone's advantage if TPG try yo improve this!

I read the TPG status and this issue was to be resolved by 1400 hrs today. Still waiting and can't log in .... not a good look for TPG as we are paying for this service.
