We cannot get online through our NBN connection. Is there a TPG or NBN fault?

Update: outage was fixed overnight. TPG, you need to lift your comms efforts during service outages.

No NBN at our place for at least the last 3 hours, network status page says there are no issues and TPG sent me an SMS a little under an hour ago to say our service is affected by an outage. And your support line says you’re not answering phone calls bc of the number of calls you’re getting. Seriously, when are you going to sort out your various comms channels to provide up to date info so that we don’t have to try three ways of finding out what the issue is and how long the fix is likely to take? What is the estimated to fix the current outage?

thanks BasilDV. the service has been back online since 3.30 yesterday arvo. SMS notifications from TPG were good but it’d be better if updates were more frequent. eg, if TPG had texted me when it knew the approx restore time, would have saved me calling and saved your staff time.

TPG texted me early this morning to say there’s an NBN outage but no update since. I called TPG, they say advice from NBN is connection should be restored around 4.30 this arvo.

our NBN hardware was installed today, the account is active and the internet connection is working well. however, when i click on system log or traffic monitor pages in the router, both pages are blank, can't see any system log entries or any traffic records. firmware: 0.1.0 0.9.1 v5006.0 Build 190228 Rel.72265n hardware: Archer VR1600v v2 00000000
