Welcome to the Community @catdow88   For customers who would like to check the status of their service installation/activation, we have created this community article, which contains a video on How to track your TPG service installation   We also send an Email notification to our customers to inform them about the scheduled installation and if their attendance is required.   In your case, our wholesaler (NBN Co) advised us that they weren't able to complete the installation due to technician capacity issues and requires to reschedule the NBN tech visit to finish the installation of your service. Hi drawood,   The short answer is 'it depends'.  If you have FTTP, don't turn off the NTU.  You can safely turn off your TPG supplied router, but I'd leave the NTU alone unless you're specifically advised to do something with it by TPG. If you're on another ADSL-style NBN connection type, you can safely turn off your router while you're away, and your NBN service should work once your router starts back up when you get home (probably about 5 mins - 15 mins tops). It really shouldn't matter to be honest, unless you're wanting to save a bit on power while you're away.  Will it hurt anything to leave the devices on while you're away?  Not unless a big storm rolls through really. ... Assuming NBN has not been installed yet...   One way to verify this is to place an order for NBN, once this is done TPG should pass on your address information and NBN will check it for servicebility.   TPG should then inform you if you can get the service or not. To also save you some time you may need to ask you landlord if NBN was previously installed on the address, this should give you a better picture of your NBN servicebility. ... View more

Unfortunately you will need to cancel your account will Telstra, Telstra will never updated you once you're ported over and TPG on the other hand will have no idea what’s going on with your previous provider. The only important thing is to keep you Telstra phone number active during the porting process, this will allow TPG to port it over from Telstra. Cancelling the Telstra account must be done once porting is complete to avoid unecessary billing. Hope this helps :)  ... View more
