TPG Email fails to adequately filter spam & fishing emails, its not unusual for me to get a spoofed email from TPG about failed account payments at least once a week. To counter the volume of spam I have my Junk Mail Filtering set to high but this seems to make no differance to the volume of spam I recieve and just adds genuine emails to the spam folder. To counter this I need to add incorrectly identified genuine (NON spam email addresses) to the the Address Filtering to "Allowed Email Addresses" and have over 600 allowed email addresses so far. The issue i have in addition to TPG poor filtering is the "Allowed Email Addresses" DEFAULTS to SPAM FOLDER?????????. WHY, WHY or WHY????? does TPG do this.   The spam folder should not even be an option in the "Allowed Email Addresses" filter! TPG you are a mature internet provider not an immature start-up anymore. Can I please request the default setting in "Allowed Email Addresses) be changed from "Spam Folder" to "Inbox". When you add a new email in the allowed emails of the TPG post office mail filter setting the default is set as "spam folder", it is a bit ridiculous that their is even a spam option for ALLOWED email addresses but you could at least NOT make it the default. Easy change to make peoples life easy as the TPG spam filters are pretty woeful at blocking spam but great at blocking legitimate email addresses so I need to add all of my legitimate addresses to the allowed list after they end up in the spam folder. ...   When using the TPG post office, I want to add legitimate address that are caught in my Spam filter to the Allowed Email Addresses in the email filter settings. Can you please change the "allowed email addresses" pop up box to NOT have "Spam Folder" as the default settings. So when using Mail Filter Setting to add an address to the ALLOWED Email Address filter the default choice is "Send to Spam Folder". Really? What is the point of even having have to chose an option. The choices are Spam Folder (Default) Permantly Delete Send to Inbox   Is this whats called an oxymoron?   TPG, I would suggest removing the choice altogether as it is very easy to make a mistake if you are not paying attension.
