I was told I had to wait until my modem AND The NBN bundle was installed to activate the service. Which is why I was inquiring about the specific date of installation. Or can I activate the bundle without the NBN service being installed?

So as you've requested I am now asking the question on this thread. Do you know when I could expect my nbn services to be installed? I was not told an exact date and was given a timeframe of 2-30days, which I think is too vague to be anything of use. It’s been a week since I’ve ordered the package and despite the install inquiry site telling me there’s an option of rescheduling the appointment(hasn’t even received a schedule but sure) I clicked through everything and it only lead me to this. Can you please help? Not really sure why you posted the answer to the original thread question which has already been answered rather than this one which you've obviously seen as you saw this and redirected me to this page. Thank you.

Just out of curiosity, while listening to the moderator while purchasing my nbn unlimited WiFi plan with pay per use phoneline, I was told that I’d be charged $20 minimum so that just in case I make a call there will be a sum to be charged from. So I thought ok that sounds reasonable, but was then told that by the end of the contract should I choose to discontinue and this amount was not used the $20 is automatically surrendered to TPG. How does this make any sense? I am also told that more money will be charged from my bank account if this amount dips below $10 my bank account will automatically be charged. So I can’t use all my credit and TPG is getting $10 no matter what? This is ridiculous. If the company wanted to profit more from their packages just add 10 dollars to their installation fee but what is this?

Just wondering because it seems like my modem will be delivered to me at least days after the NBN installation, (the NBN is likely to be installed soon but the modem delivery hasn't even started) does the monthly billing begin after installation or after I activate the modem? Because I've prepaid the first month's costs and it seems slightly inequitable if the billing was to start then or start when NBN is installed as I can't actually use the Wi-fi without the modem.
