i was trying to call a sydney local number 0287743488 using my home phone, but i got this error message "calls to the destination you have dialed are currently congested please try again later OCA0142" i tried and used my mobile to call the same number, it worked and connect. then i used my home phone call mobile and a different local number, it also worked. but just not for that particular number.

thanks for the quick reply BasilDV! yes that's right, we cannot find any Arris device i believe a lot of people don't know, when they pack and move, they take that device with them. ok, we will wait for the case manager message.

if TPG is posting the device to us, please send the device to a different address instead, i am not sure if it's good to put the address here. TPG is sending us a new modem, so please send it to the same address as this: "Your equipment order number 3818381 has been dispatched by StarTrack."

recently moved to a new place, there's nbn connection available (NBN Hybrid Fibre Coaxial) and have done the "move home" service which is still in progress. but we just realize that we don't have the nbn connection box, the black Arris device. could TPG send us one? this is our account detail also want to confirm, does this Arris device belongs to nbn not the owner / tenant? for example, when tenant or owner moves or sold the property, they cannot take that device away, is that correct? thanks!

is nbn fibre better than nbn coaxial? in terms of speed. this is my speed when i was in the old place, using i believe it's the coaxial cable and Arris CM8200 Modem. https://www.speedtest.net/result/9896031078 93 down and 38 up but when i move to the new place using fibre, this is what i get https://www.speedtest.net/result/10150081826 107 down and 18 up a little bit better in download, which is no use to me at this difference, but the upload speed is dramatically reduced. is this speed normal in the nbn 100 plan??

thanks for the infor BasilDV! and it works. a few questions that i forgot to mention before. 1. in the first image, why the nbn connection box lights are not all green? the UNI-D 1 light is amber, does it mean something? or some problems with the network? the optical light is green and flashing. 2. is the tp-link Archer C1200 a modem or a router? i thought i can access internet directly from the nbn connection box, but i can't. i have to access internet through the tp-link Archer C1200. how to check a device is compatible with my nbn if i need a new device in the future? and how to set it up. and what type of nbn connection am i using? 3. right now i am using the C1200 in the garage i guess as a modem, the VR1600v as a router or access point, but what if i use the C1200 as a access point and put the VR1600v in the garage, is it possible? and what settings i need to change in both devices? thanks!

i have this nbn connection box in my garage, with the tp-link Archer C1200 that TPG sent me. internet and wifi are working fine, just wifi signal is not very good in the 2nd floor, as the wifi router is in the garage. ↓ i have this tp-link Archer VR1600v modem router from TPG before, and we were using NBN service too, but i believe it's a different type of connection. ↓ i was trying to replace the black one (C1200) with this white one (VR1600v), so i can put the black one in the living area to improve the wifi signal upstairs. but it doens't work, i connect the NBN box UNI-D1 to the white modem router WAN port, no internet coming out from the white modem router. so i went to the setup page of the white (VR1600v) and changed the username and password to my TPG ones on this page, still no internet connection. ↓ so how do i replace the black one with the white one? or how do i keep the black one in the garage but put the white one out in the living area as a wifi router? here is these 2 modem specs comparison, it seems to me the white one (VR1600v) can provide faster wifi speed, but to me more importantly the wifi signal strengh, the black one (C1200) has external antenna vs the white one (VR1600v) has internal antenna, does it mean the black one has better wifi coverage? ↓ please help me out on this issue. thank you!

hi David, thanks for the reply! you mentioned "NBN CO is responsible for installing both units/boxes when they visit your house for the installation.", do i contact them directly or TPG will organise this when i apply the transfer / move the service? how do i do the "re-locations request"? via email, app or call?

https://imgur.com/a/jyEGVq6 does tpg install this nbn box (circled in yellow)? the photo 2 is new place we are moving to, photo 3 is the neighbour. also, photo 1 is from the website (https://www.nbnco.com.au/) my address is nbn available but on tpg website it only shows adsl available, is it because we haven't installed the nbn box (circled in yellow)? at the moment we are living in a unit using tpg, is it possible to have new internet connected at the new place but also keep the internet connection at the current place so we won't get any interruption?? thanks
