Hi Shane, Thank you for your reply. I read the article that you've attached. But the instructions really using the supplied TPG modem. I would like to know the setting if I plug the deco M5 right to the NBN box without using the TPG modem? Is there a specific instructions for me to follow? Thanks and take care.

Hi Justin and Shane, I am on the Superfast plan using HFC too, my internet is working fine, but I'd like to ask if I am able not using the Archer (supplied by TPG) and only using NBN box and Tp Deco M5? At the moment here is my connections: NBN box connected + with Archer (supplied by TPG) + connected with Tp Deco m5. Can I remove the Archer and just connecting the Tp Deco M5 straight to the NBN box? if yes what is the setting? Many thanks.

Thanks for replying. Could you please speed up the process, it has been a day without the internet specially kids are at home and they unable to browse and study online. Every time I am having issue with my internet it took weeks to fixed. Will shopping around for the better NBN service.

My NBN went down since 4 pm yesterday (Sat) the light (upstream) keep flashing. I did checked the cable, it is looks good to me. Any ideas? Thanks

Hello, Since changed to nbn last month, my 5G internet almost dropped off every day. I had a few chats with TPG support, basic troubleshooting and even reset the modem back to the factory and the issues with 5G dropping off (could not get IP address) never resolved up to now. I am not sure the issues because of the modem or TPG. I don't want that every time the 5G dropping off I have to turn off and on the modem or call/chat with TPG for the support which we will have to go thru again and again the basic troubleshooting. A few friends of mine using other providers and they are have a better luck that made me thinking to leave TPG for a better and piece in mind internet services.
