OK no one is putting it all in one place so here is what I did to make myfritz!box 7590 work for TPG nbn FTTC First go to the three dot menu in the upper right corner of the fritz!box settup, and turn on advanced view it may appear that you are turning it off but never mind. Then go to Internet->Account info, and set it as follows ignore the TPG item in the drop down it’s for DSL, you need to choose “other provider” (or whatever it was) under internet service provider, make up a name for your service provider I choose “TPG nbn FTTC” as that’s what mine really is, then do the following: Then choose “Connection to an external modem or router” under “Connect via” and “Establish own connection to the internet” under “Operating Mode” Then under “Account Information” answer “Is account information required?” tick yes and fill in your TPG details with your user name as: firstname.lastname@example.org where username is your tpg username. Then under “Connection Settings” put your speeds mine are 100 Mbps down and 30Mbps up as that’s what my plan says my max is in reality I never get all of that. then set ``VLAN-ID'' to 2 // this is vital the PBIT can be left at 0 NB: you may have to choose more settings or some such several times to get all the options I did.
