This has occurred again. We have an 'open-line' and are unable to make or receive calls. If I call the number I still et the "unable to connect at this time... OCA0188" message. WTF is going on with the exchange/line for our number?

As noted in other replies: Neither of these solutions worked. The issue is due to an 'open-line' at the exchange, as has occurred previously.

As noted in my post. I am having the same problem. The last call received to our number was two days ago from my husbands office. There is no problem there. I have checked the connections at our home and all are correct. The phone appears to be still connected to an open line at the exchange.

My home phone has no dial tone when I pick it up. When I try to call in it says " cannot be connected please try again later, oca 0188" What is going on? This has been like this for at least the last two days. Regards

Has anyone received from TPG Mobile a non-sensical message relating to NBN installation being completed? I am tired of false messages from TPG like this. The call has been registered as a complaint. Their call centre, as usual, is unable to assist with this type of thing. No response to this post is required, I am just fed up with their so called 'Service'.
