Hi, My modem sync speed has gradually dropped from 49Mbps to 22Mbps over the last 11 months. I have tried other phone cables, rebooted modem a lot, shut down modem for 60”, reset modem to factory settings. tp-link archer VR1600v web manager shows the current downstream rate is 23850. The modem takes a long time to connect the DSL. Several minutes or more. A Telstra tech suggested there might be trouble with the line and to get TPG to get it checked. Who do I contact to get my line checked? Thanks, Nicholas

Hi Basil, Thanks for your reply. I don't need a home phone. I just want the NBN and I'm currently on the $69 TPG plan which I'm happy with. When on ADSL2+ I had to keep Telstra in the loop for the line rental. Is that no longer the case? Thanks Nicholas

Hi, I've been on NBN for a while now but I'm still paying a Telstra bill (Home Phone Basic plan). Do I even need Telstra now I'm on NBN or can I cancel that plan completely? Thanks, Nicholas

BasilDV, Thanks for your reply. I don't need my home phone line/number any more and I would like to move to a 'naked' plan and hopefully reduce my Telstra bill. Is that possible with the NBN? Do you have plans that provide this? Thanks. Nicholas

Hi, A few questions regarding NBN installation. I'm scheduled for March 29th. What is the advantage of pre-ordering? What is the installation cost? Is a modem supplied and is it included in the installation cost? Thanks. Nicholas
