Please reply to this SMS with the best time to contact you. - 12 Mar 11:52am: SMS to TPG: you may call now. - 12 Mar 12:05pm: a lady from TPG calling, asking if i would like to connect to TPG mobile. I told her i was having issue with my internet and land line. She transferred me to the other department, and the next person then, again, transfered me to the other department. The last person told me there might be some issues with the switching exchange. - 12 Mar 1:35pm: SMS from TPG: Telstra have told us they have booked a technician to check your TPG service anytime between now and 16 Mar 2021. - 12 Mar late afternoon: my intenet and land line returned to normal. - 12 Mar 8:37pm: SMS from TPG: your TPG service appears to be working normally. - 13 Mar am: again, internet connection was down. - 13 Mar 9:54am: SMS from TPG: TPG ticket #112873xx. FY record: - 20 Feb pm: 0Mbps u/l speed - 21 Feb 1:40pm: 0.14 Mbps u/l -- 5pm: 0.4 -- 7pm: 0Mbps u/l -- 12pm: 0.6Mbps u/l - 22 Feb 10am: 0.17Mbps u/l -- 10:20am: 0Mbps -- 3:20pm: normal -- 4pm: u/l error test - 23 Feb am: 0.3-0.5Mbps u/l ...... now it seems normal. No idea when it will occur again, so i don't know the best time to call.... But if the instability on the copper connection persists, i think i should change to 4G/LTE broadband internet.    ... D/L was normal. - 14 Feb am: u/l & d/l back to normal - 15 Feb am: TPG field engineer came over, working on the MDF with cable jumper - 20 Feb pm - now: 0kbps U/L speed   Test speed using Huawei HG532d and TPlink archer VR600v2, connected via RJ45 to my pc, similar results. hi Will, As i've told your techman last eve, D/L is not a problem, i can browse any website, watching youtube without clogging. But when it comes to interactive website when my pc/phone needs to send/upload the bits of data, then it becomes a big problem, for instance: - resetting tpg community p/w a few minutes ago, it took a few times after errors - uploading speedtest screenshot for you, it took ages and then i cancelled it  - internet banking (westpac, ...), intermittent when doing the transactions - the same sympton on ebay when it comes to the paypal transaction process ..... I am now using different ADSL modem (huawei hg532d) since this morning thinking of the newer modem (tplink archer vr600v2) might be the cause, but the result is the same, poor upload speed (zero to 0.01Mbps). Just FYI, there was thunderstorm yesterday morning in my area, do you think it might affect the copper connection along the line?  ... View more

I am having similar problem in Indooroopilly QLD since this tuesday morning. D/l speed is normal around 10Mbps, but upload is only 0.01Mbps to zero. Called TPG techsupport in tuesday eve since the kids were having problem with online school homework, the TPG guy asked me to check speedtest a few times, connecting directly data cable between pc to modem, spent almost an hour to come into this conclusion: perhaps the school server queing was crowded, perhaps my internet banking server was having problem, etc. Then finally he asked me to check the connection in 24hrs..... ...
