We are told to migrate our email to TMC or lose it. Presumably there is an option to go to another provider. However being told to migrate to TMC without being provided with details of costs is comparable to being asked to give TMC a blank cheque. It is one of the principles of fair trade that no-one should be asked to make such a commitment if fees costs and charges are not disclosed. Transparency of process is an essential element of fair trade. It would appear that this process set up by TPG in shedding its email service might well fail in terms of unfair practices  or unconscionable behaviour under the Trade Practices Act.  ... View more
