Does anyone know the actual date when migration will happen?

I did get an answer. Aliases transfer automatically with the main address, so only have to do it once.

It's a general problem I reckon. "TOO MANY CONNECTIONS" the message says. Everyone trying to do something before 11/9.

Just got this message - how long before it's fixed? Database Connection Failed Atmail could not communicate to the database resulting in an error. To continue please check the following: Database username and password are correct Hostname is authorized to connect to the database server The software has been installed correctly and the database schema created Validate your database connection details in the file config/dbconfig.ini The error message returned from the server includes: SQLSTATE[42000] [1203] User atmail already has more than 'max_user_connections' active connections Once the database connection details have been resolved, reload your browser to continue with the session.

So, I'll ask this question as simply as I can, and hope for an answer sometime in the next week or so!!! I have two tpg email addresses: 1. username@tpg.com.au 2. givenname.surname@tpg.com.au , which is an alias, and used for 99% of my emails. I'm intending to transfer both - separately - to TMC. Will TMC accept both, and, if so, will they be separate accounts, or one (as is currently the case with tpg mail).

Aubrey If I transfer my alias address - eg alias@tpg.com.au - to TMC, WILL IT STILL WORK - THAT'S WHAT EVRYONE WANTS TO KNOW. PLEASE GIVE US A STRAIGHT ANSWER NOW.

To be clear, are you saying that XXXXX@tpg.com isn't transferable to TMC!? That seems to defeat the purpose of the transfer. Or do you mean that it's not transferable to any email service provider other than TMC?

Honestly, how long does it take to get an answer to a simple question? Do we have to transfer our email aliases, or will that happen automatically when we transfer our "main" email address? Or, what happens if we do transfer both our main address and our aliases? A fast answer would help some of us.

That's something (about aliases) many usuers would like to know, and should be readily available in a public statement. It ought to be mentioned in the info which comes up when we "click here" to learn about the transfer.
