Sounds like you need TPG to book NBN tech to come out and they will replace modem for free. Unfortunately Tpg Do not Answer phones if trying to report a fault. They Just send standard email from helpdesk@tpg.com.au to Get ticket and email it to Techops@tpg.com.au. The problem is that they wont answer the phone to get a ticket number. I lodged dispute with telecommunications ombudsman TIO who have emailed a case to TPG. Tpg have 20 days to respsnd. That would mean 1 month with no internet that I paid $74.99 for. The only way that I could fix my NBN was to change service providers to Super loop. I rang Superloop and explained the problem. They organised to transfer my NBN to them. They checked whilst on the phone to them. They could see there was no NBN to house Superloop then sent NBN tech out to house 2 days later who fixed NBN. This is the service that would be expected. Not TPG though Superloop have much better service and do actually help there customers. TPG have debited my bank account for $36.21 for not giving them 30 days notice for changing NBN providers. The best Thing to do is loadge a dispute through the Telecomunications ombudsman. This is a free service and they will charge TPG a fee for there service. They will make TPG fix your NBN that you have paid for. You can lodge dispute by clicking on link below. If Enough people do this It might just make tpg give you the service that you have paid for. TIO will charge the fee to TPG for there service. For example If TIO charge $280 to provider(TPG) for each dispute and 100 people lodge complaints. Tpg would have to pay $28000 in fees. Hence if enough people lodge legitimate disputes TPG will have to improve there service. Remeber you have paid good money each month for a service that is not provided. I had mentioned to TPG that I had started to test my internet. Check voltage between both telephone wires at house. 0.00Volts. I then check resistance of wires back to nbn network from junction box at side of house. It was open circuited. I did also mention that I would open up the telephone pit out the fornt of the house, which I did this afternoon. What I found was more lies by tpg. There was no fiber to the kerb. It was the same copper wires from my house that go up the street. Another Lie From TPG that I will be taking up with the Telecomunication ombudsman next week.
