Hi there. I was wondering why my speeds were so low on my NEW 100 plan. The average of 50, top is 60. When I did some digging, the support page for compatible hardware stated that my modem does not support top speeds for wifi, only ethernet. I wish someone had told me before taking my money. What modem should I have? I use TPG voip, so I guess I am limited. Can anyone advise me of a compatible (VOIP) modem that has a better set of features, mainly speed, than the old Archer VR1600v? Thanks, but I've been through this before. I wasted a lot of time on the phone and nobody could help. They told me it was fine, but it wasn't and I never received Ultrafast speeds. At most on a good day, I get 50Mbps.

Hi there. I spoke to a number of people, tried a number of things then gave up. I'm sure it is all recorded on my account. I still need to cycle my modem regularly as DNS and IP errors occur on multiple devices and they cannot connect. The speed during the "boost" was what i would expect on my normal plan, so I am worried it will drop back when the boost ends.

I was offered the Speed Boost for six months about six months ago. The Boost never took effect and after quite a few emails and calls I gave up. Now I have just received a message saying "I hope you enjoyed your Boost". I am already having to restart my modem multiple times a week, so can someone please reassure me that this change to my service won't have any additional negative impact.

So it has been weeks and the people I spoke to initially can't seem to solve the speed boost problem and passed it onto the engineers two weeks ago. Still no change to speed.

Hi there. Just wondering if i am on the latest firmware for the Archer VR1600v V1, and will it make any difference? I didn't get the speed bump i was recently offered and I get more dropouts than I did before the offer was made. I assume something changed on the service, just not what i expected. People have mentioned that there may be restrictions on the modem - can't see it in settings myself though. I was offered the Speed boost a lot of people received to start on 5th of this month. I still don't see an improvement from ~50 and if anything I get more dropouts than the usual one every day or two now. Is this it?

I can make calls from my landline, but inbound calls just ring out. I have reset the modem, tried different cables, unplugges the phone etc. The phone works perfectly and it is pluggd into line 1 on the TPG issued tp link modem. NBN internet is working perfectly otherwise. Any ideas?
