Hello,   I am having a very similar issue to raynimrod87. I have recently upgraded to the same NBN Ultrafast 800Mbps plan but my download speed has remained at 8Mbps, not 800Mbps. The upload speed has increased to 40Mbps+ though. I also have the same TP-Link Archer VR1600 router, and I've run a LAN speed test and get close to Gigabit speeds locally so it does not seem to be a local bottleneck.
