No luck my internet is now dropping out constantly and the TPG service status page has been down since Monday. NBNco website says my address is fine.

So since yesterday's outage every few minutes websites will stop loading but my connection is still fine then everything will load all at once. I've rebooted my router and I've tried changing my dns to google/cloudflare + using tpg dns. Speedtestt is fine I get 100/20 and when I can't load the websites I can still ping 8.8.8.8 and can also ping the webpages so i'm suspecting routing. I've been on hold for 2 hours trying to call unable to get through to anyone and when you call they say "run service test on tpg my account to not need to call". I've run the service test and it's just stuck saying in progress an hour later, I assume they won't find anything because my line is synced. Really shameful that I can't get through to a human for support I've been with TPG for 17 years but am swapping the service in the last year has gone to ** and I've had 3 major outages in the last couple months. PS if you're someone working at TPG and I can messaage you please let me know.

Hi guys, i'm on TPG HFC 100/20 and replaced my old TPG router which default was 1480 MTU. The new router I got has 1492 default. Wondering what I should set it to at? 1480,1492 or 1500? Thanks

Hi guys, I have a tpg supplied tplink VX220-G2V, on my last tpg tplink there was a menu for LED control which enabled me to turn off the bright LED's on the modem. I can't seem to see it on this one, is there a firmware where i can disable the LEDs?

Hi guys, I have TPG + home phone which they do via voip. I'm using a Archer VR1600v V1 which is ok for my use case however it's been restarting randomly lately, I've had it for like 5+ years I think. Just wondering if there are any routers that I can manage to get VOIP running on or do I have to buy a router from TPG? If so do you guys know what their current offering is?

Yes I understand that but won't it still work with the tpg router behind the new router with the phone connected to that one? Not sure why it would make a difference of the tpg one behind in front of the new one.

Hi guys, so I'm using an archer 1600v modem and a service that includes voip. I want to upgrade my router as i'm using quite a few devices and also need a bit more security+qos functionality on my network. However i've read that TPG does not provide details for voip to work on new modems, I'm just wondering can I just run a newer modem plugged into the NBN box (hfc) and then run my archer through that and have my phone plugged into that voip port and everything else disabled? https://imgur.com/a/mq8zcmX Hey mate, i'm well aware the office network speed is higher. But point i'm trying to make is that you said that it was a problem outside the TPG network. However downloading it from 2 different connections i'm able to get much faster download speeds so it's not from Nvidia's servers that's bottlenecking me. Having a 92mbps line and getting 200kb/s is surely a routing issue. When i swap to telstra 4g i think i only get 30-50mbps speed test and get about 5mb/s. I'll take a screenshot of those results when i get home later.

If it's a problem outside the network then how come as soon as i swap to telstra 4g i can get 5-8mb/s from 200kb/s? I'm at work at the moment which has a gigabit tpg fibre link and am getting 29mb/s easily. https://imgur.com/a/sFER5un Those are the results from my work. How come with Telstra 4g/different TPG line it works fine but only on my home connection it's stuck at 200kb/s? It's not just on the nvidia site either but this is just the easiest example i could give you.

Hi, sorry haven't replied here since i tried dealing with forum_admin@tpg.com.au for a faster response but have had no luck with them. Yes i am still getting those speeds but downloading anything from a non Australian server i don't ever get 2mb/s or above.. Hi so i realised i've got the exact issue with downloading drivers from nvidia website so think it's easier to diagnose than battlenet. When i download without VPN i get 2mb/s then with NordVPN i get 9mb/s. I've run tracert and ping on TPG and Nord. https://imgur.com/a/Oux6xGH - NordVPN https://imgur.com/a/TROqsTz - TPG without VPN. Both these sites are American, ping seems similar but download speed is very different. Cheers

Hi i'm not sure what the server address to tracert or ping is. My main issue is with battlenet downloader but i can't figure the address. When i go through nordvpn on battlenet downloader i go from 1mb/s to 6mb/s. When i go from my hotspot i'm also getting about 6-8 as well. Definitely an issue with TPG.

Hey guys i've got HFC TPG and getting 90/38 speedtest results from speedtest.net and fast.com however my battlenet launcher is very slow at downloading games/updates. I can download from steam/origin fast but on battlenet i get around 700kb/s to 2mb/s max. This didn't used to be the case. I don't have any setting to throttle or limit the speed in battlenet enabled nor am i using a firewall. When hooking my computer to 4g i get fast speeds so it's not the blizzard servers. Thinking it's a potential routing issue with TPG and battlenet. Cheers

Hi guys, i can't get my bandwith control working on my Archer VR1600v, i'm trying to limit the wifi speed. I've already set a static IP for my computer but whenever i try to add any rules in bandwith control i'm getting Error code: 4800 The requested minimum downstream rate can't be satisfied. Please input another one I've tried every number in the book and it doesn't work so i'm thinking possibly a firmware issue? Also wondering where i can check the sync speed on it (running NBN). Cheers
