I had my @picknowl.com.au email address forwarded to xxxxxxx@tpg.com.au since TPG took over Chariot. I opted to migrate to Messaging Company recently. As of Fri 15/9/23 the forwarding has stopped. None of my @picknowl emails get to me. I have established that the @TPG box is working but that is not an email address that I use. I now undertsand from TPG support staff that the migration to Messaging Company has started! It seems to me that the migration has broken the forwarding I had. How do I get TPG to fix it???

A call from a tech on Sunday assured me a con note would be sent for the return of my faulty TP-Link modem. It's now Wed and I have received nothing (checked spams too) How long do the con notes usually take to come? I do NOT want to be charged for another modem as was suggested in a note with the new modem.

After 10 days with no phone service I have finally received a replacement TP Link modem. Although the Phone 1 and Phone 2 leds do not illuminate, the phone works. At last! So all my time and inconvenience has been caused by faulty product supplied by TPG. BUT to add insult to injury, now TPG have the audacity to put a note in with the new modem demanding the old faulty modem be sent back to Sydney within 14 days advising to use registered post (obviously at my expence) or they will charge $99.95. I AM GOB SMACKED!!

My phone service has been dead for nearly a week now. Techs ask for more time but nothing seems to be happening? I tried changing out my TP-Link modem for my old Huawei and got a dial tone? Unfortunately the old Huawei will not port forward. Seems to me that both modems are flakey and I'm in the dark with no phone service. Are others having modem issues?

As a TPG Chariot ADSL customer I went with TPG for my NBN service so that I could retain my email address. When I arranged the changeover I was assured I would keep my email address. All was well until I realised I was being billed by TPG for the new NBN plan AND the old ADSL plan!! I am NOW told by Chariot TPG that to stop the ADSL billing I will have to change my email address!! TPG refuse to help at all ! It seems to me that I'm with one company TPG (for both billings) but with two companies for email address and support. What disturbs me the most is the deception I received when changing over. If I knew I would lose my email address I would have reviewed providers.

I have followed the procedure using port 80 and MAC at least a dozen times!!! The best I can do is wind up back at the Huawei access screen. Tried both known IP and DDNS service. If TPG claim to use port 80 for the modem GUI, it explained my difficulties then, but now using ports 8008 and 8006 gives ports not open. I can only blame the modem or something with the NBN? I'm hanging out to try a different modem??

I have tried and tried to set up port forwarding using the procedure: (I was advised by TPG that port 80 is used by the modem GUI) So I have now reconfigured my cameras to use ports 8006 and 8008. I have configured the HG659 to forward these two ports by adding port mapping applications for each. I have added a camera to each using add device and the camera’s MAC address. I have now been through the forwarding procedure many many many times (tried DMZ for one of the ports too!) I have tried port checkers using my current IP and they always come back closed. I am reading in whirlpool about problems with port forwarding on the HG659??? ARE THERE PORT FORWARDING ISSUES WITH THIS MODEM?
