I also have the following 2 modems and got the email from TPG regarding NBN SOS-ROC rolling out on March 31st   * TP-Link Archer VR1600v * Netgear Nighthawk D7800   What I would like to know is, do these 2 modems support the NBN SOS-ROC features and if not, what happens on March 31st? Does this mean I can't conntect to the internet?   As the TP-Link Archer VR1600v was a TPG provided modem and if the NBN SOS-ROC features are not supported, do TPG have a replacement modem program?   It also seems like the compatible modem page on https://community.tpg.com.au/t5/Featured-Articles/0-Setup-fee-No-Lock-In-NBN-BYO-Modem-Hardware-Compatibility/ba-p/107845?utm_medium=email&utm_source=campaign&utm_campaign=homewireless might be incorrect if infact the Netgear Nighthawk D7800 isn't supported as it states on the page that it is. ... Checked username and password and can login via the TPG website. Same details are in the netgear router but still doesn't work.   Service works at our addres as I'm currently using the TPG provided modem/router with no issues. ... View more

Think I'm having the same issue with my Netgear Nighthawk X4S D7800 modem router connecting to my NBN FTTN connection.   When I go through the genie setup it always results in saying "Incorrect ISP Username or Password" at the step where the username and password are inputted. Tried with the modem that TPG provided and was able to connect so seems to be an issue with the router.   Wanted to try this solution however unsure of how I know I've got a vdsl sync?   Step I've tried however didn't work for me. Using Genie setup to detect inital settings Get "Incorrect ISP Username or Password" error.
