Paying for email?

I was forced to change my email to "the messaging company". Now I'm being told I have to pay $3.50/mth for that? I didn't sign up for this. I am already paying a high price for my internet, and now I'm being forced to pay for email? I have 8 email addresses. On top of my monthly payments, to have to pay several hundred dollars on top is ridiculous. Especially when there are so many free email services available.
I have stuck with TPG over the years because of the reliability, even though I could get a cheaper deal through other providers. After 15+ years, might be time to change. I'm guessing I'm not the only one who is pished off about this new charge we weren't told about, when we had no choice but to change to these thieves.

I agree with you. i think it was a dumb move by TPG to outsource email becuase it was the one thing that kept existing customers. now with email being outsourced, people can move ISPs while keeping (and paying for, if they wish) their TPG email account.

really dumb move but theyll learn the hard way.

I wouldn't be buying shares in TPG that's for sure.
