I moved houses in the last couple of months, ported my TPG NBN service and kept my old Huawei HG659 modem. Since the move, the 2.4 ghz band has been dropping out regularly and for prolonged periods. It has been very frustrating. I've changed channels and frequencies, but there has been no change in reliablity. Most of my devices are on the 5 ghz band, but some devices need to be connected to the 2.4 ghz band. Any ideas on how I can fix this?
