So two days ago our ADSL (naked) went from being a good reliable service to suddenly slowing down to hardly anything.
Speed test get average of 1.5mbps down and less than 1 mbps upload - the test even times out in the evening when the network is busy.
Have tried all resets, different devices, direct connection via ethernet cable from modem to laptop etc etc. the modem is a good one and easliy meets the requirements (worked perfectly for last year or so) and we only have two devices in the house that use the net anyway. I am quite sure the problem is not from our end.
Can TPG advise or run whatever tests you can to confirm something is up with your service.

We were able to locate your account using your community details and learned that you were able to contact our Tech team. The case was escalated to our Engineering team since a fault on the network was detected. They've lodged the case to Telstra and was told that they have booked a technician to check your TPG service anytime between now and 22/Nov/2018. Your attendance is NOT required.
