Cannot access some websites. Started the morning of Nov 8. Optus outage. Related? Anyone else suffering?

@EricT . Who is  151.101.30.133  ?  Nslookup returns no name. How do you get to it?

@EricT . What are the Seq and Ack numbers and length on frame 2569. This should be the first frame of Server Hello.

If that frame didn't make it to your computer but the second frame does, Wireshark says it missed a frame.

@EricT . There's some connection between www.9news.com.au and (www.)nrl.com. Their IPv4 addresses are the same. But not for 9news.com.au. Don't know what that means.

It just means that they are both using Fastly CDN for their `www`.

Yay, I am happy to report that it is starting to work. Hard to say if it is Optus related.

 

After all, the world is very well connected and takes time to redistribute 'stuff' around.

Thanks everyone for their time looking into this issue.

 

Could be wrong but I suspect the TLS find may have helped TPG support hone in on the problem and fix it.

 

Didn't continue for very long after that post...

This all happened to me and I am still using my mobile as a hotspot. It's comforting to know this wasn't just me, but this is the second time in three months this has happened. I'm starting to think I need a new modem

Hi @Reede . What are some of the websites you can't access on NBN connection?

Can you ping them and tracert to them?

What model router do you have?
What speeds do you get on TPG speed test?
