Constant dropouts every year during December/January

Constant dropputs. DSL light flashing, and sometimes takes hours to reconnect. Have tried three different modems, new ethernet cables, new phone line cable

 

This has happened every year since i moved to the NBN during Dec, Jan. I assume it has something to do with high amounts of traffic. There are never any outages ion my area when i check.

 

What i want to know is... Is this a problem with TPG only? Becasue after 20 year with TPG I'm considering moving to Telstra.
