Get online support
I only just received a message yesterday confirming that a telstra technician had come and fixed the problem. No less than 24 hours later my internet has dropped out at least 6+ times today.
When am i gonna stop being lied to and have someone actually fix this? Im starting to think i may need to take this higher up as it seems like these issues just keeping getting "band-aided" and not actually fixed at all.

Hi @chimaira56
I can confirm Telstra have attended and put the phone line ''in spec'' now for your ADSL service.
I have changed some settings on our systems also, back to standard,
A telstra line fault doesnt always mean it was the primary fault, and something else could still be wrong.
See how you go for the next 24hrs on these settings and let us know.
What is the age/model of modem you are using?
Thanks,
Huawei
Model #HG532d
Just to clarify. It has dropped out at least 20 times in the last hour alone.
Hi @chimaira56
Yep...i can see those drops.
In my experience from here, the next culprits here would be the phone socket itself or the modem.
Is the socket the old school type, like a cream rectangle.
Can you plug a telephone into the socket and gentle jiggle the socket? if it is faulty it will cut out or crackle loudly.
If that is good, you will have to try a new modem.
Its possible that is the underlying constant in all your issues.
Thanks,
Did you get this problem fixed?
