when I want to send an email I get an error message: " email address not valid"
Hi @shume,
Does this happen on all of the emails you are trying to send or just one? Are you using an email client or TPG Post Office?
This error meant that the email address you are trying to send an email to either does not exist or you may incorrectly typed a letter or a special character.

This happens on all emails that I send, using regular contacts stored in Contacts. It occurs through Mail and TPG Post Office
I use computer and iPad.
Hi @shume,
What is your computer OS? Please try the settings below:
Mail server is http://mail.tpg.com.au for send and receive.
Send (SMTP) port 25. (alternate port is 587)
Receive (POP3) port 110.
Security is None.
Enable Authentication.
Does sending work in this case?
Try enabling encryption. Use "STARTTLS" option for send and receive.
Using SSL/TLS, SMTP is port 465; POP3 is port 995.
Let me know how it goes.

Where do I find how to check the settings you suggest please
Hi @shume . Has your email been working for some time and has suddenly stopped working?
What mail client do you use on your computer?
On the iPad, is it Apple Mail?
Does the error message show up as you type in the address or only when you press Send?
When using Post Office, does the email move to the Sent folder?
Or, does the error message appear over the email you are trying to send?
If the email appears in the Sent folder, check if the To address is correct.
Do you get an error email in Inbox? Maybe from Mail Delivery Subsystem.
Is there an error code and message?
How to I access the email account please
