If the email was in your sent folder and you did not receive any error or message, then the email was definitely sent.
I would advise the recipient to check spam/junk folder or if there's any set filter on their end.

When I send mail to Yahoo Mail user, it shows my mail was sent. But the Yahoo Mail user never receive my mail.
