Hi
I am facing frequent disconnection of the NBN network
When I was playing League of Legends, I would disconnect 3 or 4 times in a match. The pins are fine, but it is just weirdly disconnected for a few seconds and recovered.
I have changed to a new modem to see whether there is a problem with the modem. I also switched its position, but it is not working.
Could you help me check the status of the transmission lines? Hope you can help me solve the issue.
Thanks
If you are on FTTN, the most likely explanation is DSL dropouts in the copper run that runs from the node. Check your router LEDs.
Hi @peterli15
Are you using a WiFi or a Wired connection to the modem/router?
Did you notice any changes with the light status of the hardware when you were disconnected?
Are you experiencing the same thing while with your smart phone or other devices? Or it is happening on a computer that you use for LOL.

Hi
We are having the same issues with multiple device. And we are indeed connect to the wifi. I tried different modem, the problem presist. I haven't check the light pattern on the router though, because the disconection is really quick.
The WiFi connection is prone to signal interference, which may be causing the dropouts.
Could you try to connect your computer via Wired/LAN and test if you'll experience the same thing?
So I did connect a laptop to the router/modem, and it seems the frequent disconnection stopped.
I think we are using FTTP. But it seems the problem is with wifi signal interference. However, I have changed the modem multiple times. Do you have any suggestions or advice on settings?
It's good to hear your internet is all normal when using a wired connection. This means signal interference is likely the cause of the dropouts.
There are a few settings that can be changed on your modem, such as disabling band steering and changing the Wi-Fi channel. You can head to the links below to find articles on how to do this.
