Hi @wilcrunk,

Before you start

  • Make sure your router is connected to your computer via the ethernet cable .
  • Alternatively if you are currently connected to the wifi you won’t need to be connected directly to the router.

If your TPG router is the supplied TP link router.Capture 1.JPG

  1. Open your browser and in the address bar type http://192.168.1.1 and press Enter.
  2. Enter admin for both the username and password and click Login

  1. Capture 2.JPGOn the menu on the left side of the page, click Wireless. You can change the password to whatever you like under the password field. Click Save

Thanks @shaneoverdemise and @Maverick for your reply. I have a Huawei 659 modem.

What do you mean by "Login to gateway page 192.168.1.1"?

@wilcrunk I think what @shaneoverdemise means is:

Open a browser.

Clear the address bar.

Type 192.168.1.1 on the address bar.

There will be a pop up asking for a password.

Use 'admin' for both username and password.

You will be routed to the home page

- Click on 'Set Up WLAN'
- Once you click it, page will show option to create Wireless network name and pre-sharedkey/wifi password.
- Once you're done with personalizing Wifi name and password you click on 'Save' and try it.

Cheers!
