Internet is tooooooo sloooowww!

My internet connection is very slow last too weeks, but it is unacceptable today. I cannot use it and have to use my mobile phone’s 4G to sign in and post this thread.

I try to contact with TPG support team but cannot connect them. Cannot phone them any more, only get support through chat online. But always receive message “Our team members are currently serving other customers. We appreciate your patience. Please try again later.” I just registered to upgrade to NBN and now feel too disappointed with their service.

Before attempting the troubleshooting steps, we recommend that you do the following below.

  • Check our Service Status at https://www.tpg.com.au/servicestatus
  • "Power cycle" your ADSL modem. This means turning your modem off and waiting for one minute before turning it back on again. This allows your modem to reestablish connection to our server.

In your case, there was a fault within the copper network that affected your ADSL2+ service. We understand that your NBN service was installed on the 26 March 2020 after our team managed to get the earliest appointment from NBN Co and the service seems working within specification.
