Get online support
I'm using "NBN Cable Broadband M Bundle".
My customer ID: 7312753
My download speed: 12.1 Mbps
But my upload speed is too slow: 0.8 Mbps
When I use Zoom to video (or only voice) chat,
I can see/hear other people,
but other people cannot hear me
(my voice sounds broken to other people).
In short, the Internet service is not usable for me.
Please help.
------
I'm using VX220-G2v Wifi router.
I've looked at various threads about slow upload in this community site.
But I couldn't fixed the problem by myself:
- Restarting the Wifi router and modem didn't fix the problem.
- I couldn't see the QoS menu, or network bandwidth control menu (I'm using VX220-G2v Wifi router).

I've tried looking for a way in this web site,
to send a private message:
https://community.tpg.com.au/t5/Welcome/How-do-I-private-message-PM-in-the-community/td-p/4093
to Shane:
https://community.tpg.com.au/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/474
But there's error:
"You do not have sufficient privileges for this resource or its parent to perform this action."
Maybe I'm a new user.

Right after creating this thread,

Hi @cafesaigonstory . Info on M Bundle.
This is the NBN12 100GB plan. Download speed up to 12Mbps, upload speed up to 1Mbps.
Use your ethernet computer to get the best indication of speed.
0.8 Mbps is near top speed.
What type of NBN connection do you have?
Regarding your zoom sessions. Your voice is broken at the other end. When the other person is watching you, do you move slowly or jerky on their screen?
NBN25/5 plan might be better for you.

Even when I turn off my Zoom video, my voice is still too bad, too broken, that other people can't understand what I try to say.
When I upload a10 MB photo, the upload speed is too slow, that it takes many minutes!
The upload connection direction is also not stable, it's usually stuck during the file upload, and I have to try again.
> What type of NBN connection do you have?
I'm in Petersham. The connection is copper cable, not optical.

Thanks, I'll search for more info about my current plan and other plans.
@cafesaigonstory . Read this thread on qos. Looks like TPG have removed it for some odd reason.
Run the speed test on TPG support page. Does the progress bar move smoothly or jerkily during the upload part. If it is jerky, qos might fix it (which it did for me).
On FTTN connection, you can check the VX DSL stats to get an indication of line quality.

Thanks for the hint.
I've changed the plan to NBN 50.
I've received the plan change completion email.
I've turned off the NBN box, waited for more than 10s, turned it on again, as instructed in the email.
The download speed has increased from around 10 Mbps to around 40 Mbps.
But the upload speed still stays at around 0.8 Mbps (slow as before the plan change).

Would you please help fix this problem within this morning?
The upload speed is too slow, I can't work at all.
I wonder if I need to use a new Wifi router after upgrading to the new plan NBN 50?
(Because the old Wifi router has been hard coded to limit the speed to 1 Mbps?)
Update 2022/8/31:
The upload speed is now around 15-20 Mbps:

Probably it took some time for the upload speed change to get updated at TPG/NBN side.
