NBN Router connection

I have had my new NBN service connected (NBN FTTB M Bundle). I want to move the router to a different phone plug used by the NBN technician. I have several phone plug-ins to choose from in my apartment. Will the router work on any of them?

Please be advised that on a normal installation, a technician activates the first or the nearest available wall socket in your premise. 

You may check if the other phone sockets are working however if they don't, then you may need to contact a private technician to activate it for you.
