Hi Alfred. Some routers have a switch to turn wifi on/off. Or, it has to be enabled through the router's web interface. Make sure that the wifi network names are not hidden; clear the tick box on the wifi enable page.
If you know your wifi network names, you should be able to "add network" by typing in its name. Look at the label on your router for the names and passwords.
