No Internet Connection

I lost my residential NBN internet connection at 2pm today, 24 November. Called customer NBN support at 2.10pm and was told to wait as there was an outage for my area. I checked with my neighbour. There is no outage! Why did you lie and when will my internet be up again? This is the 2nd outage since I subscribed to TPG.
