Location is Wentworth Falls. No outages listed NBN or TPG.
Modem/Router says "DSL disabled" and "phone line not connected"
.
Both 2.4 and 5G WLANs are up.
Help!
Hi @markymark . What type of NBN connection do you have?
What model of wifi router?
The router might be misconfigured for the type of connection.
FTTN
TP-LINK VX420-G2v
It was working perfectly. We have been away for two weeks.
During that time it was disconnected from mains and phone line (in case of lightning).
No settings have been changed.
One thing is odd: normally on boot up after the WiFi lans come on the DSL light blinks until a connection is established ... that no longer happens ... the DSL light no longer blinks.
I have googled DSL disabled but no joy.
In desperation I tried a factory reset. Same behaviour. I think the modem/router is faulty.
BTW I ran a service test last night which is still stating "test in progress" - we have had no SMS report.
@markymark . Router could be faulty, or line fault between node and house, or even loose wire in wall socket.
