Routing issues causing high ping (being sent to the west coast before the east coast)

This has happened multiple times before, every game is unplayable. Internet is poor in general tbh.

Tracert even to servers shows im being routed from South Australia (Yorke Pennisula) -> perth -> Melbourne/sydney. Ping has gone from 40 -> 100ish. When its fine, I'm obviously just sent straight to the east coast

Why does this keep happening?

Last time it was supposed to be "escalated" and I never heard anything from anyone.

First tracert is google.com, 2nd is Diablo IV server

Hi @Jinx00000

Did you run the tracert while connected via WiFi or Wired?

@BasilDV . The response time of <1 ms to the local LAN ip address is typical of ethernet computer.

There is a long delay to the address on line 2 of each display.

And long delay to address on line 3 of each display.

But minimal delay from line 3 to the end.

On my computer, the routing is completely different and much faster.
