Slow Internet Speeds

Hello,
I am consistently experiencing extremely low download speeds (2-5mbps).
I’ve only been connected for under 2 weeks, the first day I had hit around 40mbps but later that night and every day since then had always been a consistent 2-5mbps which is not good enough.
I am unable to take video calls whether for work or other reasons, pages take a long time to load, unable to play online games and struggle to stream things in high quality.
Is there anything that can be done about this?
