Get online support
Hi Guys
I'm on 50/25 plan and am getting over 50mbps download (somehow) and only 4.7mbps upload. I used to get +40 and +15 respectively. Are there any tips to improve the upload speed?

Hi @Winetosser,
The NBN50 plan is configured on the nbn50 Wholesale Plan tier with up to 20Mbps upload.
The speeds indicated are the average download speeds our customers experience during evening peak times (7PM to 11PM) local time. Actual throughput speeds may be slower and could vary due to various factors.
Speeds at other times of the day are typically faster than the typical evening speeds as less customers use the Internet at the same time. As always, actual speeds may vary due to many factors including type/source of content being downloaded, hardware and software configuration, the number of users and performance of interconnecting infrastructure not operated by TPG
To rectify the issue you may need to watch out for any random programs uploading, such as iCloud drive, dropbox, bit-torrent, one drive. You can try to perform an isolation test to check if turning these cloud applications off will resolve the problem.
Please do let us know how it goes.
